I had the pleasure of working at Prim Peony Event Co. for the first time this past weekend. I cannot say enough great things!
From a Wedding Planner’s perspective, Sam and Thomas were an absolute dream. They made our quick planning experience so simple and they were so positive and accommodating. My clients were unfortunately left without a venue 6 weeks before their wedding date, as COVID-19 forced their original venue to remain closed. I searched through hundreds of outdoor venues, looking for a venue that could accommodate our guest count outdoors, that was still available for August 29, 2020 and that fit my client’s vision. I have dealt with Thomas in the past (he is a phenomenal caterer!) so I reached out to inquire about his upcoming event space. Right from the beginning, he was so accommodating and he did everything in his power to offer us what we originally had at the first venue. We were so appreciative and it was an easy decision to select Prim Peony!
With now only 4 weeks until the wedding, it was a quick process to select the menu, finalize floor plans and get all of our details into place. They even allowed us to have a food tasting on extremely short notice which really put my client’s minds at ease. Thomas and Sam were always available to take my calls and we managed to work very quickly to get the wedding re-planned!
The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Thomas, Sam and their staff were amazing to work with. The food was delicious and the service was so efficient. We even managed to get 30 minutes ahead of my projected timeline, regardless of a late ceremony start. Thomas and Sam were both on site all day and they remained very available and accommodating all the way until the last minute.
I could go on and on about everything they did for this couple in the 4 weeks that they were with us, but I don’t want to write an entire novel! The venue was the perfect choice and the wedding turned out even better than we could ever have imagined. In the words of the bride… “This wedding was nothing liked I planned but it was exactly what I wanted”. We could not have asked for a better experience than what we received with Prim Peony Event Co. Thank you Thomas and Sam for an outstanding experience!!

We booked Prim 4 WEEKS before our wedding date. Our original venue closed until September (because of COVID) and we went back and forth deciding if we should have our wedding or not. The government restrictions forced us to plan a wedding at a venue outside. I did not want this at all.
After we found and booked with Prim, it was non stop hard work for Thomas and Sam to figure out every detail, for a wedding, that is usually done within a years time! They communicated very well with my wedding planner. They helped us out so much with the wedding we had already planned and made sure to put that into place at their venue. We received lots of compliments on the venue and how beautiful it was, all night. We totally agreed!!! As well, the food! It was exquisite, I still think about it.
It was not an easy year for Thomas and Sam but they really came through with proving us with the wedding that we always wanted!

Chef Thomas Waite and his admin staff were amazing to work with from the beginning. Email and phone correspondence was timely and professional. Flexibility and accommodations for dietary preferences were also outstanding. I had commissioned Thomas to do a birthday party at my house, and the handpicked menu was very well received by guests. Not to mention Thomas’ friendly nature. He created a great ambiance in the kitchen as he was preparing the food during the party. The dishes were creative, original, and certainly unique. Thomas is a master in his craft, and his passion for cooking amazing food is instantly apparent! Nearly all dietary preferences and restrictions can be accommodated. Everything on our menu was either vegetarian or vegan, and was enjoyed by all guests (vegan/vegetarian or not). Would be happy to hire Chef Thomas for any future engagements. Thanks again!
We just had Chef Thomas come to our house for an Indian dinner. Chef Thomas was entertaining, provided good teaching, and ultimately prepared a delicious meal. I can’t wait to try out the recipes myself. I have high standards and I must say, I was just so happy with the experience overall!
Our family was fortunate enough to have The In Home Chef, Thomas Waite, at our home to prepare and serve a meal for a total of 10 people. The meal was beyond outstanding, as was the professionalism that Thomas provided. Without hesitation we would recommend Thomas to anyone that is interested in being pampered for an event.
