Our exquisite barn is estimated to have been built in the 1800’s. This is noted by the beautiful details inside. The main structural beams are axe cut, meaning the barn was initially built prior to saw mills! When restoring the barn we wanted to be sure to preserve this history, which has been displayed by using original door hinges, keeping the old floor beams and adding small details from the original design. The rustic appeal is evident and we are sure the original creators would be proud! We have transformed this old working barn into a beautiful rustic event space.
The rental will include full access to the grounds, barn and herb garden from Friday at noon until Sunday and noon. Our herb garden is located at the back of the barn on a 4000 square foot patio. We wanted to bring the farm to table aspect to your dining experience and that’s why you will immerse yourself in what you are eating from our custom made cedar garden boxes. The food we serve at Prim Peony comes from our exclusive caterer The In Home Chef, who is known as one of the best boutique caterers from London. They will customize your event to include anything you desire.
Gold or white chiavari chairs and a moveable arbour will be provided for your ceremony to make your “I Do’s” seamless.
Our outdoor 4000 square foot patio will include an indoor bar set up (pictured) for cocktail hour, game area, couches to lounge around and heat lamps to keep you warm on a chilly night.
The indoor reception will include handmade tables from the original barn board, an option of two coloured chiavari chairs and beautiful lighting throughout.
